Our Terms & Conditions

Responsibility

The participant understands that during the course of the tour certain events may occur, including, but not limited to:

  • accident/illness

  • forces of nature

The participant agrees to assume all risks associated with the tour to the maximum extent permitted by law. Any medical and evacuation expenses incurred due to injury or illness will be the responsibility of the participant. Dancing Kangaroo Tours reserves the right to refuse a participant entry onto a tour due to medical or fitness grounds.

The participant acknowledges that travel on a Dancing Kangaroo Tours tour requires a degree of flexibility, and understands that the tour’s route and modes of transport are subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances.

Should Dancing Kangaroo Tours deem it advisable to amend an itinerary for any reason, it may do so by shortening, varying or re-routing any tour.  These changes are binding and additional expenses will be charged to the participant if the reason for any major alteration is outside Dancing Kangaroo Tours’s control.

It is beyond your control as to which wines the winery offers for tastings on any particular day and the wines listed in our itineraries are an example only.

While travelling with Dancing Kangaroo Tours’ tours the participant agrees to accept the authority of Dancing Kangaroo Tours’s leader or Dancing Kangaroo Tours’s tourist guide at all times.  The participant is aware that travel within a group may involve compromise to accommodate the diverse desires and physical abilities of group members.  The participant understands that Dancing Kangaroo Tours reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the group at any time.

The participant acknowledges that Dancing Kangaroo Tours works directly with a network of wineries, government agencies and individuals who provide assistance throughout the regions in which the tours are conducted. To the best of Dancing Kangaroo Tours’s knowledge, these third parties are qualified to provide such assistance.  However, Dancing Kangaroo Tours will not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur due to the conduct of these third parties nor will Dancing Kangaroo Tours accept responsibility or liability for any participant who contravenes any law or regulation.

Dancing Kangaroo Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour if too few people have booked for that departure.  In this instance you will be offered an alternative date or tour and if this is unacceptable Dancing Kangaroo Tours will offer a full refund.

Insurance

Participants are encouraged to have travel insurance for every active tour taken with Dancing Kangaroo Tours. This is strongly encouraged for overseas visitors who may not have access to the Australian health care system.  The participant’s travel insurance should provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability.

Age Policy

Due to the nature of the tours, all participants must be over 18 years of age at the date of tour – unless it’s a private tour where the minor is accompanied by an adult/parent. It is illegal for participants under the age of 18 to consume alcohol on Dancing Kangaroo Tours’ tours.
