Since 2015, we’ve been sharing the Victoria we love. Best known for our Yarra Valley wine tours, we’re a small local team creating memorable journeys filled with great places, great people and plenty of good times.

Over ten years in the valley · one host and driver all afternoon · maximum 20 guests
Relaxed is the unhurried one. Have breakfast, a coffee, or your favourite podcast at home, then join us around midday for roughly five hours in the Yarra Valley.
You visit three handpicked wineries, a mix of iconic estates and boutique producers, tasting drops that show what the region does with its varietals. Every tasting fee is included in the fare.
Feeling peckish, there are cheese and charcuterie platters to order at one of the stops. This is an adults-only tour, and you are back in the city between 5:30pm and 5:45pm.

Food on the half day
A cheese or charcuterie platter at one of the wineries
There is no lunch stop, so if you get peckish you can order a grazing platter or light nibbles at one of the stops. On most tours that is the second winery, where there is time to sit with a plate between tastings.
Availability depends on which wineries the day visits. Charcuterie is not always on, but cheese boards or other plates are generally available to buy.
When
Around 2:15pm, at the second winery on most tours
Dietaries
Ordered at the venue, so you can talk to them directly. Tell us at booking as well.

A half day, not a shortened full day
Leaving lunch out is what keeps this tour to five hours and keeps the fare where it is. If you would rather a full day with a proper meal included, Epic has a two-course lunch with a glass of wine, and Amazing stops for lunch you order yourself.
Pricing
One fare, per adult, with all three tastings included. Weekend fares are $10 more than weekdays.

- You have evening plans and want to be back in the city by 5:45pm

- You want lunch included. That is Epic, with a two-course lunch and a glass of wine
- You want the most wine-focused day, with four tasting experiences
- You need a hotel pick-up. The public tour meets at one city point
- You are booking a large private group and want your own vehicle and venues

How many wineries do we visit?
Three, and every tasting fee is included in the fare. The line-up is a mix of iconic estates and boutique producers.
Is lunch included?
No. There is no meal stop on the half day. You can order a cheese or charcuterie platter at one of the wineries at your own expense, subject to availability.
What time does the tour start and finish?
Meet at 11:45am in Southbank, depart at 12:00pm sharp, and back in the city between 5:30pm and 5:45pm. Around five hours in the valley.
Which wineries will we visit?
With around 80 cellar doors in the valley the line-up changes. On most tours it is Yering Station, Soumah and Yering Farm, but that is not a fixed list.
Where does the tour meet?
The Arts Centre Melbourne Spire, 6/2 St Kilda Road, Southbank, beside Protagonist café. You can grab a coffee before boarding.

Yes. On most tours the second winery has a menu, so you can order a grazing platter or light nibbles between tastings. Low-aroma snacks are welcome on board.
How many guests are on the tour?
A maximum of 20 guests per departure. Small enough that your host can look after everyone.
Do prices change with the date?
Yes. Weekends, peak periods and public holidays carry a surcharge, which covers the higher running costs on those days and lets us keep the same quality of tour all year. The fare for your date is shown when you select it in the calendar, before you pay.
What happens if not enough guests book my date?
Between May and October, departures need a minimum number of guests to run. If your date does not reach it, we will let you know at least two days before, and you can move to another date, switch to another tour or take a full refund. No fuss. To check whether your date is likely to run, email contact@dancingkangarootours.com.au.
Can I get a hotel pick-up?
Not on the scheduled public tour, which meets at one city point to keep the afternoon on time. A private Yarra Valley tour is collected from your door.
How is Relaxed different from Epic and Amazing?
