Just need a vehicle and a driver?

Airport runs, conference shuttles, or getting everyone to dinner and home again. The same vehicles and the same drivers, without an itinerary. Anything from five seats to fifty five. Organising a wedding? Have a look at our wedding transport.

From enquiry to the day

What happens when you enquire

Four steps, and a price before you commit to anything.

Step 1

Tell us about the day

Where you want to go, the date, and roughly how many are coming. An outline is plenty to start.

Step 2

We shape the itinerary

A plan for the day with the stops held, sent to you to change before anything is locked in.

Step 3

You get a price per person

One price per person, with what is included written down, so finance can see what they are approving.

Step 4

Sign it off and we run the day

A tax invoice for the company, then one contact through to the day itself.

Where to go

Where you can take the team

Four regions within easy reach of the city, all of them a day trip rather than an overnight. Every one of them runs the same way for a work group.

A tour group doing a kick line dance in an autumn Yarra Valley vineyard

Yarra Valley

About an hour from the city

The most cellar doors to choose from, and the easiest region to build a shorter day around. The usual first choice for a team day.

Two friends raising bottles of sparkling wine under the palm trees

Mornington Peninsula

About an hour and a quarter from the city

Wineries, a distillery or two and the coast. Good for a group that wants the day to have some variety in it.

Guests walking towards a cellar door overlooking the bay

Bellarine and Geelong

About an hour and twenty from the city

Quieter than the Yarra, with a strong food and drinks scene around Drysdale and Portarlington.

Two friends sitting on a unicorn statue at a winery lookout, glasses in hand

Macedon Ranges

About an hour from the city

Cool climate wines and a different landscape. The region people who think they know Victorian wine have usually not done.

Somewhere else

Wherever the team has in mind

The Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island, or a place the group already knows. Tell us where you are thinking and we will put a day together around it.

Happy to be talked into one. Tell us the date and we will suggest a region.

Start with the numbers

How many are coming

Your headcount sets the vehicle, and the vehicle sets how many stops the day can hold. A bigger group takes longer at each venue, so the day carries fewer of them.

As a guide, a work day for 8 to 24 guests runs $125 to $230 per person in the Yarra Valley, $150 to $255 on the Mornington Peninsula, $130 to $240 on the Bellarine and $145 to $220 in the Macedon Ranges, including GST. Prices are indicative only and can vary with extra stops, add-ons, upgrades, deductions, the vehicle your team needs, and weekend or public holiday dates. Your final price is confirmed in your written quote.

A day built from scratch is quoted by hand

There is no table for this one, because the price depends entirely on what you choose. Tell us the shape of the day, your headcount and your date, and we will send a costed itinerary you can take to a budget holder.

Numbers look right? We will put them in writing.

Questions from people booking for work

The ones that come up most often once finance and the team calendar get involved.

Yes. A tax invoice with our ABN, made out to the company rather than to an individual. Purchase orders are fine, and we can work to your payment terms. Card or bank transfer, whichever suits your process.

Yes. We carry public liability cover and our vehicles and drivers are commercially accredited. If your workplace needs the paperwork for its records, ask and we will produce it.

Tell us as early as you can. Numbers set the vehicle and the vehicle sets the price, so a change of two or three either side of a band can move the cost. Small changes are usually absorbed without a fuss.

They are looked after the same as everyone else. We choose venues with proper non alcoholic options rather than an afterthought, and nobody is left sitting with a glass of water while the table tastes.

Yes. Pickup and drop off at one address are included. Each extra pickup or drop off can add up to $150, depending on how far out of the way it is from the first pickup or the last drop off. Tell us where people are coming from and we will plan the route and show any extra in your quote.

We finalise them one week before your tour and pass them to the venues in advance, so nobody is sorting it out at the table in front of their colleagues.

Larger teams run across more than one vehicle on the same itinerary, arriving and leaving together. You still get one contact, one plan and one invoice for the whole group.

Earlier is better, and November and December go first. That said, ask anyway. We can often find a way at shorter notice, especially midweek.

They are set out in full in our terms and conditions, and we send them with every quote so nothing is a surprise later.
